Galileo Funk Machine

Galileo Funk Machine This project was born from the Jazz Workshop taught by Sedajazz at the facilities of the Colegio Mayor Galileo Galilei, sponsored by the GASTAD Chair.

 

The group began its formation in February 2012 with theoretical-practical sessions guided by Francisco Blanco "Latino", who was directing the initially jazz repertoire towards funky, in response to the characteristics and interests of the members. The first public performances take place in May 2012, in the Auditorium of Fine Arts and in the Colegio Mayor itself. Subsequently, they participate in concerts organized at Café Mercedes and at Café Rock in Pinedo, as well as in one of the jam sessions that take place at the Palau de la Música on the occasion of the Valencia Jazz Festival. Currently, the group continues rehearsing, expanding its repertoire and, above all, enjoying music.
